Village heartbeat began over 20 years ago with the vision of John Cutts, a second generation missionary, whose parents first arrived in Papua in 1950. It is a non-profit foundation that strives to provide the Papuan people with the training and skills necessary to grow in advance in an ever-changing world around them, while still maintaining a pride for the beauty and uniqueness of their own culture.
